Alleluia, Arise! Connect with Jesus! His Resurrection is Ours!
A. Today’s Special Items
You no longer need to register for in-person Mass attendance!!!
1. Remember that Lenten Recommendation – “the-best-version-of- yourself”?? At the beginning of Lent Fr. Patrick suggested that we look at and follow Matthew Kelly’s prayer guidance on page 41 of I Heard God Laugh. The guidance from that was we should discern how we should change and to get to work on forming ourselves into “the-best-version-of-yourself”. That is, change our habits for now and for the future! So, here in the Easter Season are we living better lives than before Lent? Less “bad” stuff and more “good” stuff?? Those changes could be in our physical/health activities, … or our mental/intellectual side … or our social/relational side/our love of neighbor … or our spiritual side/prayer side/our love of God. Blessings on your attempts to be your best version!
2. Check to See if God is Asking YOU to …
Have you felt … have you heard … the Lord possibly hinting to you that it is time to try to be just a little more bold? Here are three suggestions on how you could do some of that with fellow Corpus Christi members.
1. You could join those who are Visiting Our Neighbors (VON) … this year it will be the neighborhood west of Lahser.
2. You could join those who stand outside one of the neighborhood grocery stores and offer prayers to those coming to the store and those leaving the store. (Store Front Evangelization … SFE)
3. You could join others praying for those two ministries by staying in church in prayer.
This year we are planning these ministries for Tuesday evenings (6:30 – 8:30pm) and Saturday mornings (10:00 am to noon). Questions? Wanting to join the efforts? Please send a return email with your contact information!
3. Get rid of Those old Leftover Drugs!
Saturday, April 24th, is DEA National Drug Take Back Day. Turn in your unused or expired prescription and over the counter meds for safe disposal. Contact your local Police station for drop off information. The 8th Precinct in zip code 48219 is probably closest to church.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; an Associate Degree or two years of college-level course work is preferred but not required. Candidates must exercise sound judgement and have strong problem-solving skills as they will need to effectively resolve unexpected issues that arise on-site. The Deputy Team Leader supports the Team Leader and takes the reins during the Team Leader’s unavailability.
EP Tech Support– this person oversees and coordinates all technology equipment / needs on site at each Vaccine Clinic. The EP Tech Support is also responsible for resolving on-site technology-related issues.
Salary: $24/hour, plus benefits
Anticipated Length of Employment: These temporary positions are grant funded and are immediately open to be filled. Funding is currently available through September 30, 2021. Subject to additional funding, the positions may be extended up to the end of the calendar year (December 31, 2021).
