The next Session is Sunday, January 21 from 12:30 – 1:45 pm or stay for lunch until 3 pm.
What is the Topic? continued reflections on the Liturgy of the Eucharist: The Lamb of God our Passover. Meal or Sacrifice?
Adult Presenter: Fr. Jim Lowe, CC, our new pastor
Teen’s Topics: The Paschal Banquet and Sacrifice
Primary and Middle School: Jesus Gives His Life for Us and Jesus, the Lamb of God
Information on Safety: Part of the session for children and teens will include a presentation on safety. The Archdiocese of Detroit is currently using the program, Empowering God’s Children, by VIRTUS. Each class will study the topic, Physical Boundaries: Safe and Unsafe Touching Rules. We hope all children and teens will be able to attend. If your child is not able to attend and you would like the information to share with them, please contact Sr. Therese.
Lunch (optional): Platinum Dish serving lunch at 1:55 pm

3. Blood Drive
4. Martin Luther King Mass for Justice and PeaceBishop Gerard Battersby will be offering up a Mass at the AOD Cathedral with the intention of “For Justice and Peace” on Monday, Jan. 15th at 11:00 am. This Mass is in gratitude for the life, work, and example of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who is being honored nationally that day.
5. Protecting God’s ChildrenAre you an existing or a new volunteer to a parish ministry, committee, organization, or social event, who has never taken the Protecting God's Children training? You can attend an in-person session on 1/20/24 and complete the requirements. See the information below:

6. Hockey Night
Help support Christ the King School on January 23rd. Corpus Christi will take our bus with us to the game. See details in the back of church this weekend or call the office.

Eucharistic Adoration
One of the greatest treasures of the Catholic faith is the Eucharist. Ever since the Last Supper, the Catholic Church has believed that the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. You are invited to come and spend time in adoration with Jesus at Corpus Christi as we begin to offer these new time slots for adoration. Ideally, we will have two people in the church before Jesus whenever adoration happens. On our parish website you will see two slots for each time. Please know that if the slot is filled there will still be plenty of room in church for you!
