Generations of Faith: Encounter Jesus
Fishing in the Sea of Galilee has been a very prosperous industry over hundreds of years. Jesus spent most of the early years of his ministry in this area. The first men He selected as disciples were local fishermen.
Have you ever wondered what type of fish was caught? Of course, we can't know for sure because the Bible doesn't tell us; but the bones of freshwater fish, such as carp and tilapia (often called St. Peter's fish), have been identified in local archaeological excavations.
The Storyof this Miraculous Catch and the Call of the Disciples from The Chosen is our January Generations of Faith Encounter with Jesus.
Join us this Sunday January 23rd after the 11 am Mass (12:25- 1:40 pm). A snack before the presentation will be provided! OR at home watch this story through the link on the Corpus Christi website which will “go live” on January 23rd.
Children and teens also have two options for their next Encounter with Jesus:
In-person on Sunday January 23rd in rooms 3 & 4 with teens in the Activity Center from 12:25 to 1:40 pm with a snack provided. During this session the children’s lesson will include Circles of Grace, an Archdiocesan required program presented yearly on abuse awareness.
