3. Do YOU Know Someone “Considering Catholicism”?
How about that? Do you possibly know someone wondering about their faith life and looking for a church? Maybe they went to church in their youth. Maybe they had no faith life. Maybe they are searching. Maybe they are simply not happy with where they are in their life. Our Lord could be the one who could satisfy their needs, their longings, their cares. Yes, maybe they are considering about where to go and how to get there.
In the next few weeks, we will be starting our annual efforts to answer the questions of people like that, people who are “inquiring”, people who might be “considering Catholicism”. Please give some “prayerful discernment” to your possibly inviting a family member, a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor to our sessions that will be about one hour per week. There will be time for group sessions and for individual, personal meetings. Questions? Feel free to give Dcn Paul a call at 248-891.9387 or an email at Paul.Mueller@corpuschristi-detroit.org.
4. Time to Come Back to Church for Mass In-Person?
Now that things have gotten so much safer you might feel OK about attending Mass in-person. We have created more room by deleting the cords that blocked off half the pews. We continue to use the air purifiers. The choirs are growing back in size. We are going up the aisles to receive Communion. You will get a smiling welcome as you enter the church. Sound familiar?
YOU! Yes, YOU, are more and more welcome to Corpus Christi.
Come, rest in the presence of the Lord!
Opportunity knocks…prayerfully consider YOUR options.
5. Fr. Patrick’s Presentation on Family of Parishes

To hear an audio recording of the homily and/or to view the slides he used during the presentation click on the button below which will take you to our parish website.
6. Fr. Patrick’s Bulletin Article on FOP Job Descriptions
In Sunday’s bulletin Fr. Patrick gave us three job descriptions for those serving as “directors” in the FOP organizational structure. They include: Director of Mission Support, Director of Discipleship Formation, and Director of Engagement. Next week he will write about the other three director positions: Director of Evangelical Charity, Director of Family Ministries and Director of Worship. To view the bulletin article, click on the button below.
For the last 15 months Corpus Christi has been issuing these “Corpus Christi Updates” twice per week to help us stay connected during these trying Covid pandemic times. Now that the virus is coming under better control and we are more able to have meetings and church services in person the need for the updates is reducing. Next week we will start sending them out once per week on Wednesdays. Let’s stay connected electronically and in person!
B. Family of Parishes

The focus of this third gathering is to encourage Family members to bear witness to the Gospel as a Family, receiving the grace that comes through sharing of faith and attracting others to encounter with Jesus Christ.
