There are three dates for our family’s gatherings: Fridays, May 21st, June 18th, and July 16th. The gatherings are from 7 to 9pm.
The June 18th (TOMORROW!) gathering will aim to deepen those new, faith-founded relationships and help us begin to grow together as disciples. The in-person version of this session will be at St. Juan Diego at their St. Christopher location, 7800 Woodmont Ave., Detroit 48228. (between Tireman and Warren Ave., east of Southfield Fwy.) It can also be watched on Zoom. Please register (to attend in-person OR to receive the link to attend the virtual event) by clicking on the button below.
Next month’s July 16 gathering will encourage our Family members to celebrate together as a Family, receiving the grace that comes with confidently bearing witness to the Gospel. This gathering will be in person only at our neighboring parish, St. Scholastica.
The May 21st gathering was an opportunity for the members of the Trinity Vicariate Family #1 to get to know one another and to encounter Jesus through new relationships as brothers and sisters. 5. Catholic Bible School of Michigan 2021-22 Courses
Have you read the Bible? The WHOLE Bible? Is it that time in your life to make such a commitment? … and enjoy it, learn well, and get closer to the God who is behind it all? A few years ago a group from Corpus Christi went through the CBS-M four-year of classes where weekly presentations by seminary-grade staff members opened the Scriptures, where discussions with other students helped dig even deeper, and where the WHOLE Bible did get read and studied. Here is an endorsement from one of those group members:
“The quick endorsement: ‘So, so glad I did it!’ I had been a Catholic all my life BUT had never read or studied the WHOLE Bible. I had taken courses at Sacred Heart Major Seminary but not all of the books of the Bible were covered. There was a little pressure from the Lord along the lines of “Isn’t it about time?!?!” The teachers were very credible people, several of whom I had known from the seminary. It was great to have discussions with the other students. That helped us dig even deeper into understanding and grasping the meaning of more and more of the Bible. Reading a whole book of the Bible, like the book of the prophet Isaiah, provided a better grasp of the excerpts we read at a Mass.” Dcn Paul
Blessings on your discernment of “Is NOW the time for YOU?”
