Jesus Sends out 72 Disciples – Lk 10:1-12 Sunday, July 3rd -- 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Fr. Patrick’s Holy Homework This week, try to consciously pray (out loud, if possible) “Jesus, I am doing this for you” as you are going about whatever it is you may be doing. Doing so will help us open up more to the grace of living with sacred intentionality
Happy 4th of July!

Invite a Family Member or a Friend to “Consider Catholicism”
Is someone you know wondering about your church, your faith, your beliefs, your Bible, your prayers, your worship services, or any other aspect of our Catholic religion? We have a casual process for such people to ask questions about our Catholic faith and practices. We are calling it “Considering Catholicism?” and are having sessions on Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Rainbow Room.
There will be a “Considering Catholicism?” sign on the door to help them find the room. The first session will be on Sunday, July 24th and will continue on most Sundays from then until September 18th.
Care to know any more about these sessions? Please contact Dcn Paul Mueller at [email protected].
What is up for the Children this Summer?

What a Beautiful Day & Fine Visits!
Last evening eight parish members had a marvelous evening of evangelization ministry! Three members prayed in the church for the teams who went out. Two members visited our neighbors (VON) on Edinborough and three members did store front evangelization (SFE) at Foodland on 8 Mile.
The evangelization process consists of three simple steps.
Offering people a cross on a chain … free, yes, free!
Asking people what they would like us to pray for … and then asking the Lord to answer their requests.
Giving people a small invitation card with our parish information and a Scripture verse on it.
Yes, sometimes the conversations get even deeper!
Thanks to the three members who stayed in church to pray for them and thanks to the many who prayed from their homes.
How about YOU? Curious? Getting a nudge from the Lord? Want to know more about it? In addition to visiting our parish website you could also talk to/call one of the following: Vickie Remesz – 248.765.4208 Jeff Smale – 248.910.2250 Paul Mueller – 248.891.9387
Currently, Tuesday evening is the time for both ministries, starting at 6:00 pm in church. We are discerning the possibility of another day of the week for additional VON efforts.
Please Pray for …
Our prayer list continues to grow for the deceased, the ill and the homebound. Please visit our parish bulletin for the current list on page 3. … and then raise a prayer for those on the list and your own special intentions. Simply click on the Bulletin button at the end of this email.
AND, please add to your list: “The prayer requests of those we
have met during our Store Front Evangelization efforts
and our Visiting Our Neighbors efforts”!
