Thanks from Corpus Christi and thanks from all those receiving the vaccinations!
2. Tuesday morning Mass in the Rainbow Room Since we are having the Covid-19 vaccinations in the church building on the next seven Tuesdays, we will temporarily have the 8:30 am Masses in the Rainbow Room. See you there!
3.Welcome back to in-person attendance at Mass!!!!
The Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) is asking Catholics to return to our usual practice of mass attendance obligation on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. While vaccinations and other protective efforts have reduced the new cases of Covid-19, the AOD recognizes that there are still reasons why some people will not be obligated to return. Click on the button below for such reasons.
Easter Sunday is so special! We are excited about celebrating 9:00am Mass on Easter Sunday morning!
5. Got 2 minutes and 11 seconds? Learn to invite!
Please join the efforts of inviting others to return to in-person Mass attendance. Click on the button below to view a very short lesson on three ways to invite others.
6. How about Talking to God one-on-one? Here in this Lenten season, how about considering yet another idea for a close prayer with the Lord. Many of the psalms use this form of intimacy:
Psalm 8 1 For the leader; “upon the gittith.”* A psalm of David.
2 O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth! I will sing of yourrmajesty above the heavens 3 with the mouths of babes and infants. You have established a bulwark against your foes, to silence enemy and avenger. 4 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place— 5 What is man that you are mindful of him, and a son of man that you care for him?
That psalm continues on with the frequent us of the word “You”. Wow! Can I imagine that? I am talking directly to God!
