1. FOP – Family Sharing of Priests – Last Sunday Example One of the features of the FOP is to share our priests among the six parishes in our Family. Last Sunday Corpus Christi shared Fr. Patrick with our neighboring parish, St. Scholastica (Southfield Freeway at Outer Drive). In turn they shared Fr. Jim Lowe, CC, with us at our two Sunday Masses. Fr. Jim enjoyed his time with us and learned how we do things, like, for example, how we involve those in the RCIA program into our celebrations.
2. FOP – Daily Mass Schedules for each Parish We have a list of mass schedules for each day of the week at each parish in our FOP, One in the Spirit Family. The list is on our parish website and can be reached by clicking on the button below.
As the United States prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow, we invite you to begin your day in thanksgiving to God for His many blessings. Thanksgiving Mass tomorrow, Thursday, November 25th at 9 am.

6. Corpus Christi Virtual Christmas Party
Due to Michigan’s high Covid case numbers, this year’s Parish Christmas Party will once again be virtual. The party will be held via Zoom on Saturday, December 11 from 7:00-8:30 pm. We will sing some Christmas songs and play some games (for gift card prizes!) and have a special visit from a very special guest. Watch this space next week for an update with the Zoom link.
7. Temporary Food Pantry Request – THANK YOU!
Instead of bringing canned goods to the wishing well, please consider purchasing a gift card in any denomination from local grocery stores, such as Meijer and Kroger, and placing them in the offertory basket during the collection.
Also, as we are entering the season of giving, please consider making a financial donation to support the great works that we do in Christian Service here at Corpus Christi by writing a check to Corpus Christi Parish and adding “Christian Service” on the memo line.
God Bless You!
Curtis Simpson
8. This Week’s Fr. Patrick Holy Homework
As we prepare to enter into the season of Advent, daily invite Jesus to highlight what He wants to help you change in your life so that you are walking more fully in the love of His presence, His kingdom. As He brings things up, take time to sit and pray and listen for the voice of Jesus in your heart as to how He wants to help you make the changes.
