CORPUS CHRISTI “WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION” Saturday, October 21, 2023
Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Most Blessed Mother, Heart of Love, Heart of Mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession to Jesus, your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today; for the women of Corpus Christi, and all women who will attend the Corpus Christi “Women’s Day of Reflection”; that they will be uplifted and filled with the Holy Spirit. Comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who seek thy intercession, we entrust to your intercession those we love and those who are sick, lonely, or hurting. Intercede for us Holy Mother of God, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life with God forever. Amen.

Eucharist: In the Warmth of His Presence
Generations of Faith 2023/24 Sunday, October 29, 12:30 – 3pm
What comes to mind when you hear the word Eucharist, our Generations of Faith topic this year? Maybe one of the following?
** The Eucharist celebrated refers to the Mass, the holy and divine liturgy.
** The Liturgy of the Eucharist refers to one of the two main parts of the Mass. The other being the Liturgy of the Word. The Liturgy of the Eucharist begins with the preparation of the gifts of bread and wine through the prayer after Communion.
**The Eucharist received refers to Holy Communion, the Body of Christ. ** Devotion to the Eucharist refers to Eucharistic Processions, Forty-Hours Devotions, Adoration, Benediction. [The Catholic Source Book, Harcourt Religion Publishers, 2007] Our YOUNG PEOPLE will be studying the Mass, the Eucharist Celebrated, which will include the other aspects of Eucharist mentioned above.

One of the greatest treasures of the Catholic faith is the Eucharist. Ever since the Last Supper, the Catholic Church has believed that the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. You are invited to come and spend time in adoration with Jesus at Corpus Christi as we begin to offer these new time slots for adoration. Ideally, we will have two people in the church before Jesus whenever adoration happens. On our parish website you will see two slots for each time. Please know that if the slot is filled there will still be plenty of room in church for you!
You can go directly to the adoration sign-up by clicking on the following button:
