Try to keep the themes of wisdom and mercy in your prayer this week!
“Jesus, give me wisdom, please.
Jesus, teach me to be merciful.”
It’s in His wisdom and mercy (tremendous graces)
that we’re able to live with and like Jesus
in all circumstances.
1. Happy Grandparents Day! To each and every grandparent out there!
2. A big THANKS to Mary Davis and all the Haiti River Cruise Team! The cruise went so well! Good update on the Haiti Mission. Good food…and great dessert! Fine views of the Gordie Howe International Bridge undergoing construction.
3. Death of Margaret Watson
Carolyn Wilson, former operations director for Corpus Christi, lost her mother Margaret (Meemee) Watson three weeks ago at age 96. “Meemee” was a familiar fixture at Corpus Christi during Carolyn’s tenure and much appreciated for her good humor and sparkling wit.
Carolyn said she was moved to tears when she saw at least 3 pews full of Corpus Christi folks at the funeral a St. Genevieve - St. Maurice on Friday Sept. 8th. She wants to send love and thanks to her whole Corpus Christi family and especially Fr. Patrick, who officiated at the Mass
4. Considering Catholicism?

Come join us for powerful praise and worship led by the Become the Fire worship team, adoration, and confession. Consider inviting your family and friends to come experience the Spirit of our LORD at the Become the Fire
Become the Fire exists to… “bring people to experience an encounter with Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, such that they would be healed, strengthened, and empowered to live and share the Good News!”
Checkout the National Eucharistic Revival. Click on the button below for additional information about encounters with Jesus in the Eucharist. “Our world is hurting. We all need healing, yet many of us are separated from the very source of our strength. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith in the celebration of the Eucharist. The National Eucharistic Revival is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery here in the United States by helping us renew our worship of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.”
The AOD CSA supports so many ministries! Have you already turned in your envelope? Have you looked into giving directly to the AOD? Our parish website has information on how to contribute directly to the AOD and you can click on the button below to find that information.

A freewill donation to cover the cost of the lunch. (Children eat free.)

Then we gather at the main altar of WORSHIP to reflect on the Liturgy of the Eucharist where bread is blessed, broken and shared.

CORPUS CHRISTI “WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION” Saturday, October 21, 2023
Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Most Blessed Mother, Heart of Love, Heart of Mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession to Jesus, your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today; for the women of Corpus Christi, and all women who will attend the Corpus Christi “Women’s Day of Reflection”; that they will be uplifted and filled with the Holy Spirit. Comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who seek thy intercession, we entrust to your intercession those we love and those who are sick, lonely, or hurting. Intercede for us Holy Mother of God, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life with God forever. Amen.

Eucharistic Adoration
The Eucharist is being exposed on the altar in church on the following schedule: Tuesdays: 6:00pm – 8:30pm
[Note: that’s a usual time for our neighborhood
Evangelization efforts so prayer support is appreciated!]
Thursdays: 9:15am – 12:15pm
[Note: Holy Hour for Priestly Vocations from 9:15am – 10:15am]
One of the greatest treasures of the Catholic faith is the Eucharist. Ever since the Last Supper, the Catholic Church has believed that the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. You are invited to come and spend time in adoration with Jesus at Corpus Christi as we begin to offer these new time slots for adoration. Ideally, we will have two people in the church before Jesus whenever adoration happens. On our parish website you will see two slots for each time. Please know that if the slot is filled there will still be plenty of room in church for you!
You can go directly to the adoration sign-up by clicking on the following button:
