“Considering the Catholic Faith?” What do Catholics believe? Why do Catholics call their services “Masses”? Do you believe in Jesus? Why do you go down on one knee in church? Why do your Bibles have those extra books? Yes, those are just some of the many questions that persons of no faith or persons of another denomination often ask. Do you possibly have family members, friends, neighbors or co-workers who have shown some curiosity about your Catholic faith and its community? For more information about “Considering the Catholic Faith” see future issues of these e-mails and/or contact Dcn Paul at 248.891.9387 or dcnpaulmueller@gmail.com.
Weekend Masses – Change for this Sunday, July 5th: The livestreaming of this weekend’s Mass will be at noon on Sunday. If we begin viewing it while Mass is in progress, we will join the Mass in progress. After Mass is over, we can view the whole Mass from the beginning. The link for the Mass is the same whether we join before, during or after Mass … hours later or days later! Click on the button below for viewing the Mass. Registration for attending Mass in person for this weekend will close on Saturday at noon. If you cannot decide by then and you still wish to attend a Mass in person at church this weekend please park in the parking lot, go to the parking lot side entrance, and ask the staff at that doorway if there is still available room. If there is room they will do a check-in process for you.
News about parish offices and meeting rooms: Our offices and meeting rooms will continue to be closed until Labor Day in an effort to be cautious. You may continue to contact the parish staff through phone calls to 313.567.5770. Most of the staff is working from home and can be reached through their emails.
