What should I know about COVID-19? Most patients with COVID-19 have mild symptoms and recover on their own. The virus is thought to spread person-to-person between people who are in close contact with one another (within 6 feet) and through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. COVID-19 may be spread by people who are not showing symptoms. To keep you and your loved ones safe, follow these recommendations: socially distance from others (6 feet or more); wear cloth face covering; frequently wash hands for 20 seconds and clean surfaces; get rest and exercise; eat fruits and vegetables; avoid sharing personal items and touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
