From the Heart
In Galatians 3:26-29 the "Good News" reminds us that in truth--We are a new creation and of one spirit in Christ Jesus. How can we the inherited descendants of Abraham achieve this one spirit in our lives today? We are part of a rainbow of non-traditional family relations. We are part of complex community relations at school and/ or at the work-place. We are part complex interpersonal relationships. We are racially diverse. We are economically diverse. Tension between good and evil is (at times) explosive and extreme in the complexity of uncontrolled rage that perpetuates bully type behavior in all of us regardless of age or maturity. Do not concern yourselves with the attitudes encountered in this secular world for the stressors are too numerous. Instead reflect on your personal life story and find the sweet crossroads when you are
blessed with living and bring the "Good News" to others. Everyday of our lives no matter what our age or season of time in our lives ask for divine grace! Out of our Catholic inheritance, this God-given gift to all his children will sustain us. See yourself as a "New Creation" in these complex realities for nothing is impossible with God's help. Thank Him for the gift of His son our Savior Jesus Christ. Seek within for your own unique understanding of being in "Glory and Sadness/Despair" side by side with Our Savior. Remember God's covenant to us. Do Not Be Afraid. Give Praise and continued worship in all your actions. This holy relationship is our promise of salvation! Everyday find those moments to pray for goodness and mercy in our homes, our communities and in our
world. Get caught up in finding how Jesus moves in your life through the Holy Spirit. Hum a song of praise! Everyday you and I are being called to put into action the Holy Will of our Almighty Father. Everyday you
and I are being called to be in union with Jesus. Everyday the Holy Spirit seeks to draw you and I nearer. Goodness and sweetness will draw all into one spirit of peace and harmony. Let us challenge our youth to share their goodness. Ask them to slow down. Look. Listen. Enjoy Laughter! Be known for your new creation...
Always Love, Forgive, Love Again.
