1. Parish Day of Evangelization Saturday, October 24th, you are invited to participate in a Parish Day of Evangelization. Students from the Encounter School of Ministry will be coming to the parish, dividing into teams of two, and going through our parish boundaries to share the good news of Jesus, to offer prayer for people and to make an invitation for people to come and experience the gift of Corpus Christi. All parishioners are invited to participate!
There are several ways you can participate: 1 - Prayer support! Our church will be open at 12pm with adoration from 12pm-3pm and you can stop in and prayerfully support the missionary effort. 2 - Prayer support from home! We'll have the time of adoration live streamed from 12pm-3pm and you can tune in online and pray for a bit if you'd like. 3 - Coming out to Evangelize!
We'll have an 11am meeting at the Church for an orientation to the day, organize evangelization teams, review our love filled, simple, and effective approach. Then we'll have a prayer of sending at 12:00pm and will evangelize until 3pm. There will be more details to come, but I wanted to give you some of the important information as soon as possible. This initiative will involve Covid-19 Protocol to be as safe as possible.

4. Parish Website HOME page revisions What revisions? Why? The Church, the pope and AOD continue to encourage all of us Catholics to add a dimension to our lives. That dimension is nothing new but goes back to the early Church founded by Jesus. The dimension? It is simply sharing the joy and confidence we have with impact that Jesus has on our lives … now and for all eternity! The AOD is using the words “Encounter, Grow and Witness”, EGW, to describe how the Lord impacts our lives.
Here at Corpus we have looked at how our parish ministries, organizations and efforts work to exemplify those three great efforts. Please go to the parish website HOME page to view EGW here at Corpus Christi. THEN, of course, consider how your life can grow in each of those three areas, especially in witnessing!
Click on the button below for EGW on our HOME page. When you get there, scan down a bit to the greenish-grey section. There you can find out more about EGW and more about where/how to get involved. When you click on the black button labeled GET INVOLVED (GROUPED BY ENCOUNTER/GROW/WITNESS) you will find lists of how Corpus Christi is working on each EGW dimension. Blessings on YOUR work!
