An Important Caution! A Scammer!
It happened several months ago and is continuing. Someone is trying to scam our parishioners by sending them fake emails and pretending to be Fr. Patrick Gonyeau or Fr. Don Archambault. The scammer’s first email is a request for some help. If that email is answered by a parishioner, then the scammer sends a second email requesting help by purchasing gift cards for some group of people. One recent scam asked for $1,400 worth of gift cards! Out best guidance: “Do not reply to any such requests!”
