1. Vacation Bible School needs volunteers to help with the one-week program, from August 14th to 18th. We are seeking teens and adults for volunteer help. Please call 248.743.7685 and leave a message about your offer to volunteer. 2. Coffee and Donuts are back! They will be after both the 9:00am and 11:00 Masses this coming weekend. We are short on volunteers. Please give some serious thought about YOU volunteering for that program!

ANNUAL CORPUS CHRISTI CHURCH POTLUCK PICNIC
SUNDAY AUGUST 13th AFTER 11 am MASS (12:30pm—3:30pm)
THERE WILL BE A 9 AM MASS—PLEASE RETURN FOR THE PICNIC!
Enjoy grilled hot dogs and drinks provided by the church, side dishes and desserts provided by you. Kids can jump to their heart’s content in the bounce house, get their faces painted, and enjoy a fun session at the Little Free Library featuring Sno Cones by Sno Biz, free to Library participants (others may purchase). Adults can play bingo and cards. All can dance off all that great food with a fun Healthy Hustle session. Free will donations are gratefully accepted to help defray the cost of the picnic.
“Excellent!”, you say, “What can I do to help?” Plenty of volunteer opportunities: help set up on Saturday, August 12th at 11 am or help on Sunday, August 13th with outside set up at 9 am or food prep at 10 am or help serve at 12:15 pm or help clean up at 3 pm. “Consider Catholicism”!
Is someone you know wondering about your church, your faith, your beliefs, your Bible, your prayers, your worship services, or any other aspect of our Catholic religion? We have a casual process for such people to ask questions about our Catholic faith and practices. We are calling it “Considering Catholicism?” and are having sessions on Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Activity Center with entrance between the school and the convent.
The first session will be on Sunday, August 20th. The sessions are hosted by Dcn Paul Mueller and Valerie Berry. You are most welcome to accompany your invited guest for their first session … and following sessions as well. Sessions will continue on Sundays through Sept. 17th except the Sunday on Labor Day Weekend.

The Eucharist is being exposed on the altar in church on the following schedule:
Tuesdays: 6:00pm – 8:30pm

Thursdays: 9:15am – 12:15pm
[Note: Holy Hour for Priestly Vocations from 9:15am – 10:15am]
Saturdays: 1:00pm – 3:15pm
[Note: Confessions 1:00 pm – 3:45pm]One of the greatest treasures of the Catholic faith is the Eucharist. Ever since the Last Supper, the Catholic Church has believed that the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. You are invited to come and spend time in adoration with Jesus at Corpus Christi as we begin to offer these new time slots for adoration. Ideally, we will have two people in the church before Jesus whenever adoration happens. On our parish website you will see two slots for each time. Please know that if the slot is filled there will still be plenty of room in church for you!
