2. Recording of Great Talk about Rev. Martin L King. While there are many stories about MLK, here is a great presentation that lists steps that MLK has planned and proposed for nonviolence. This presentation was jointly sponsored by our Corpus Christi Parish and by St. Francis Parish of Ann Arbor, MI to celebrate the annual recognition of MLK.
Zoom Together! Lenten Season Planning Last fall thirteen parishioners on Zoom reflected on the Advent Scriptures and offered Corpus Christi a phrase to ponder during Advent - Ignited by Hope: Christ Born Anew in Us. Time to engage in a similar process for Lent, and you’re invited to participate with other parishioners.
The session will be virtual, via Zoom, on Saturday, January 23rd from 9 - 11 am. We will reflect on the message in God's Word found in the scriptures of the Lenten Season. All Scripture lovers welcome! Schedule: ** Opening prayer ** Meaning of Lent ** Reading and reflecting on the Gospels of the season, ** Discerning together (led by Fr. Patrick) a focus for Lent 2021 at Corpus Christi.
For Zoom you will need a computer, tablet, or phone with audio (microphone). Video (camera) capabilities are helpful, but not necessary. Respond by Thursday evening to this email to request a link to the Zoom gathering or call the parish at 313-537-5770 and leave your name and email address.
