4. Friday, June 18th, Second Gathering of Parishes of our Family As of July 1st, our Corpus Christi Parish will join with the following five parishes to form our new Family:
Presentation-Our Lady of Victory
St. Scholastica
St. Mary of Redford
St. Peter and Paul
St. Juan Diego
To help us transition to a Family of Parishes on July 1st, the Archdiocese is facilitating gatherings of parish members with their new families. All these gatherings are BOTH virtual AND in-person. Everyone is invited to attend. There are three dates for our family’s gatherings: Fridays, May 21st, June 18th, and July 16th. The gatherings are from 7 to 9pm. Please register (to attend in-person OR to receive the link to attend the virtual event) by clicking on the button below.
The May 21st gathering was an opportunity for the members of the Trinity Vicariate Family #1 to get to know one another and to encounter Jesus through new relationships as brothers and sisters. That first session was held here at Corpus Christi and a video recording of it is available by clicking on the button below.
The June 18th (next Friday evening) gathering will aim to deepen those new, faith-founded relationships and help us begin to grow together as disciples. The in-person version of this session will be at St. Juan Diego. That will be held at their St. Christopher location, 7800 Woodmont Ave., Detroit 48228. (between Tireman and Warren Ave., east of Southfield Fwy.)
The July 16th gathering will encourage our Family members to celebrate together as a Family, receiving the grace that comes with confidently bearing witness to the Gospel.
