This week, take time to sit with Jesus for a quiet Holy Hour (perhaps, consider coming and praying before the Blessed Sacrament here or another Church near you) and reflect with Jesus on the ultimate destination of your journey with Him. Ask Him to refresh you where you are weary and give you a new joyful intentionality and zeal for the journey with Him.
What is up for the children this summer?
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is open during the Sunday 11:00 Mass for children 11 years old and younger. Children have the opportunity to discuss the readings at their own ability. Any child who can pay attention is welcome.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherdlevel 1 is open during the 11:00 Mass to children ages 5,6,7 years old who have not yet received First Communion. Please register to participate in this session.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word Activity pages are available in the back of church for elementary aged children. This takes the place of Gospel Weeklies during the summer.
“As the Father has sent me, so I am sending You”
Oh, me? I am being sent? Well, give it a little thought! Well, maybe more than a little. Perhaps we can mention how joyful were the Easter celebrations. Perhaps we can share one of those Corpus Christi invitation cards with a friend or family member. OR, maybe we could even consider trying one of the parish Evangelization efforts … once? … once a month? … once a week?
