1. Thanks from Fr. Patrick Dear Corpus Christi Family, Thank you for your wonderful support of the Parish Day of Evangelization (last Saturday). It was a wonderful endeavor and I am believing we will see beautiful fruit from it, hopefully in the days and weeks to come. Gratefully, Fr. Patrick
2. Fr. Patrick’s Holy Homework This week, carry this simple yet bold prayer with you: Jesus, please adjust anything that needs adjusting in my life so that I can better love you and love my neighbor. Amen.
3. Three Days! October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd. What’s the big deal with those three days?
Well, the biggest is November 1st … “All Saints Day.” For over 1,000 years the Church has been celebrating this feast. It’s not just for the Blessed Virgin Mary, the 12 Apostles or all those in the Litany of the Saints. It includes all who have made it up to heaven. How many? Got to be at least millions! We ask them to send up a storm of prayers to the Lord … for us!
And October 31st? Well, in England they celebrated Hallowed Evening, the evening before All Saints Day. It’s name morphed into Hallow Even and into Halloween! Enjoy some candy … but don’t overdo it!
And November 2nd? “All Souls Day” is a day when we pray for all those who have died, especially our relatives and friends, those who have not quite gotten to heaven yet. We pray for the Lord’s mercy and forgiveness for all those souls.

If you have not registered (by noon on Saturday) to attend Mass in person and you still wish to attend a Mass at church this weekend please: - park in the parking lot a little ahead of Mass time, - go to the parking lot side entrance, - and ask the staff at that doorway if there is still available room. If there is room in church they will do a check-in process for you. Based on the slightly relaxed directions from AOD there is now more space available in the church to attend Mass in person.
