5. Generations of Faith – Encounter Jesus – Sunday, Oct. 10th
Forgot to RSVP for the in-person viewing of the wedding feast at Cana? You are still welcome to attend on Sunday, October 10 after the 11 am Mass in church. (A snack will be provided.)
The wedding feast at Cana is an excerpt from The Chosen, a popular video series that portrays the life of Jesus and is biblically based, artistically enhanced. What cultural/family traditions did Jesus experience at Cana? How is the relationship between Jesus and His mother portrayed in words and through gestures? Cana begins Jesus’ ministry journey. Where/how/who impacted the beginnings of your faith journey?
To view the wedding feast virtually requires no RSVP. You attend the wedding feast at home whenever you wish! Just join the video of the wedding celebration followed by a table discussion with this month’s panelists Kate Davis, Olivian DeSouza, Elaine O’Neill, Carlton and Rhonda Walker. Beginning on Sunday October 10th go to the Corpus Christi website: clickoncatholic.com or corpuschristi-detroit.org. Click on the red Generations of Faith button (upper left) to find the link to the video and a handout for information and reflection.
