In September of 2019, the Worship Commission at Corpus Christi began to study the question of where the best location for the tabernacle would be at this season in the life of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Reflecting on a variety of principles regarding tabernacle locations in various church documents, the commission confirmed a decision in December of 2019 to relocate the tabernacle at Corpus Christi to the sanctuary of the Church. A three-week preaching and bulletin article series accompanied this change to explain the process used, and reasoning for, the decision that was made. The homilies and bulletin articles are available here for your reference.
